The months have passed away fast and I have neither been blogging nor sewing.
In the beginning of May I went to Lillehammer with two friends to see a beautiful excebition 1001 threads it is called.
I only show you a few pictures of lovely patchwork and weaving and i would recommend you to go and see for yourself.
Old quilts.
Quilting by the Norwegian artist Inger Johanne RAsmussen.
Tapestry made late 1800 or early 1900 by Frida Hansen
I have done some knitting, but I really need some inspiration to get on the track again.
Here are my latest finishes a neck warmer and wrist warmers.
I have been knitting some mittens and here are three pairs.
On the 24th of May my quilt guild went on a trip to Tønsberg to Quiltefryd and here are my purchases.
I am looking forward to using them and have some ideas. I will show you when they are finished.
Sommer holiday in 15 days and I will hopefully spend much time sewing.
Nice to see you back Annik. I'm afraid I thought you had finished blogging so I removed you from my list. Sorry. It is so good to see you back. Thanks for sharing the exhibition. It looks like you had a lot of fun knitting. The mittens look great. I hope you have lots of inspirations from your new purchases.
SvarSlettDear 'Annik,
SvarSlettgood to hear from you, one of the old quilts in your blog do inspire me for a new project, thank you for sharing.
Greetings,
Sylvia
Very interesting blog. A lot of blogs I see these days don't really provide anything that attract others, but I'm most definitely interested in this one. Just thought that I would post and let you know.
